Ounahi Strikes Before Halftime to Shock Madrid

Madrid looked flat in attack and paid the price just before halftime. Éder Militão, back from injury, gave Azzedine Ounahi too much room, and the Girona midfielder finished calmly from Viktor Tsygankov’s pass. Girona had already threatened through Ounahi and Bryan Gil, and Madrid couldn’t respond.

Mbappé Saves Point but Not Madrid’s Form

Kylian Mbappé equalised in the 67th minute with a perfect penalty after Hugo Rincón fouled Vinícius Júnior. It was Mbappé’s 28th goal this season — but Madrid still struggled to create danger.
