Algeria survive a late scare

In Boukhalfa, Algeria came from behind to beat Uganda 2–1 thanks to two ice-cold penalties from Mohamed Amoura.
Steven Mukwala had shocked the home crowd early, but Amoura kept his nerve — twice — to flip the game in stoppage time.

The Gambia go goal-crazy

The Gambia went wild in Seychelles, winning 7–0.
Abdoulie Manneh bagged a hat-trick, Adama Sidibeh netted twice, and Musa Barrow added two more in a pure goal-fest.
Both teams were already out, but The Scorpions ended their run with a bang.

Mozambique’s fast start

It took just five minutes for Geny Catamo to fire Mozambique ahead in a 1–0 win over Somalia.
They saw out the game comfortably to finish their campaign on a high.
