Benjamin Sesko Injured – Expected Out for a Month

United Lose Key Forward

Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko is set to miss around four weeks after suffering a knee injury in the 2–2 draw at Tottenham on 8 November.
Sesko came on as a substitute but could not finish the match.

Injury Not as Serious as Feared

Ruben Amorim said after the game he was unsure about the severity of the injury.
Early concerns suggested it could be long-term, but club sources say the issue is not major.
Even so, Sesko was ruled out of Slovenia’s World Cup qualifiers and will now spend several weeks recovering.

Timeline Still Unclear

The current expectation is about one month out, but the exact length will depend on how his knee responds in the coming days.
Amorim is expected to give an official update at his press conference before Monday’s Premier League match vs Everton at Old Trafford.

More Attacking Problems Coming

Sesko’s absence will overlap with another challenge:
Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo will both leave for the Africa Cup of Nations, which starts on 21 December in Morocco.
Premier League teams are not expected to release players earlier than required, meaning United should still have them available for the Bournemouth home game on 15 December.
But the squad will be stretched during the holiday schedule.

Sesko’s Start at United

The 22-year-old joined United from RB Leipzig in August for £74m.
He has scored two goals in 12 matches, showing flashes of quality but still adjusting to Premier League football.
United hoped he would play a bigger role through winter, but his comeback will likely be in mid-December or later.
