Nottingham Forest frustrations grow after stalemate with Wolves
Dyche faces mounting pressure after missed opportunity
Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche is under increasing pressure after his side were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw against bottom-placed Wolves at the City Ground.
Forest dominated the match but failed to convert their chances, missing a major opportunity to create a stronger cushion above the Premier League relegation zone.
Forest dominate but fail to find breakthrough
The home side controlled the game from start to finish, registering an incredible 35 shots and consistently pushing Wolves deep into their own half.
Despite their attacking dominance, Forest lacked composure in front of goal, with several golden opportunities going begging throughout the match.
The result lifts Forest three points clear of the bottom three, but it could prove costly given 18th-placed West Ham continue to apply pressure.

Missed chances prove costly for Forest
Forest’s biggest opportunities came through Lorenzo Lucca and Morato, both of whom missed clear-cut chances.
Lucca squandered a remarkable six-on-one attacking situation by firing over the crossbar, while Morato missed from point-blank range in a moment that summed up Forest’s wasteful finishing.
The missed chances ultimately left the City Ground crowd frustrated as Wolves clung on for a valuable point.
Wolves survive but remain rooted to bottom
While Wolves were fortunate to escape without conceding, the draw edges them slightly closer to avoiding an unwanted Premier League record.
The point moves them onto nine for the season, still leaving them dangerously close to Derby County’s lowest-ever Premier League points tally of 11.
Dyche’s future increasingly uncertain
Forest’s recent form has raised serious concerns, with just two wins in their last 10 matches and only two points collected from fixtures against Crystal Palace, Leeds and Wolves.
Club owner Evangelos Marinakis was present at the City Ground and witnessed the growing unrest among supporters, who voiced their frustrations toward Dyche at full-time.
With Forest already making multiple managerial changes this season, speculation is building over whether another change could soon follow.
