Jørgen Strand Larsen Completes Crystal Palace Move from Wolves

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Norway international Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolverhampton Wanderers, completing a major attacking addition ahead of the second half of the season.

The 25-year-old striker has joined the Eagles on a permanent deal and will wear the No. 22 shirt at Selhurst Park. Sources previously told ESPN that the transfer was agreed for an initial fee of £48 million ($66m).

A Significant Statement Signing for Palace

Strand Larsen arrives as one of the most high-profile forwards Crystal Palace have ever signed, underlining the club’s ambition despite recent turbulence both on and off the pitch.

After joining Wolves from Celta Vigo in 2024, the Norwegian quickly adapted to English football, making 54 Premier League appearances and scoring 15 goals in the top flight. His combination of physical presence, pressing ability and intelligent movement made him a standout option in Wolves’ attack.

Palace see him as a long-term focal point in the forward line, capable of leading the line immediately while also offering room for further development.

Player Reaction: “I’m Here to Bring Energy and Goals”

Speaking to club media following the announcement, Strand Larsen expressed his excitement about the move and his motivation to make an impact in south London.

His comments suggest a player eager to embrace both the responsibility and expectation that comes with a high-profile transfer.

Parish Welcomes New Long-Term Asset

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish praised the club’s recruitment team for securing the striker and highlighted Strand Larsen’s potential value to the club over multiple seasons.
