Kane Comes Off the Bench and Destroys Stuttgart With a 23-Minute Hat-Trick
Kane Turns the Game Into a Rout
Harry Kane came off the bench to score a sensational 23-minute hat-trick as Bayern Munich crushed Stuttgart 5–0 in the Bundesliga. Bayern took an early lead through Konrad Laimer but struggled to finish their chances until Vincent Kompany sent on Kane just after the hour mark.
Bayern Score Early But Can’t Finish
Bayern started strongly and went ahead when Laimer flicked in a clever backheel from Michael Olise’s cross. Stuttgart responded well, with Maximilian Mittelstädt and Josha Vagnoman both forcing defensive blocks. Alexander Nübel nearly gifted Bayern a second when he spilled a shot from Olise, but the ball slipped wide.
Stuttgart thought they equalised four minutes before half-time when Nikolas Nartey turned in a free-kick, but VAR ruled him offside. Bayern reached the break with a narrow 1–0 lead and still looked uneasy.
Kane Arrives and Changes Everything
Kompany made a triple substitution and brought on Kane, who immediately changed the tempo. He set up Luis Díaz for a clear chance that went wide, then hit an unstoppable drive from outside the box to make it 2–0.
Only 12 minutes later, fellow substitute Josip Stanisic struck from a Díaz cross, with Nübel fumbling the shot over the line. Stuttgart suddenly collapsed.
Stuttgart Collapse Under Pressure
Lorenz Assignon then handled a goal-bound effort from Olise and was sent off. Kane stepped up for the penalty and sent Nübel the wrong way to make it 4–0. Bayern continued to push forward against ten men.
Two minutes from time, Kane finished his hat-trick by turning in another delivery from Olise. It was his 28th club goal of the season and Bayern’s 12th league win in 13 matches.
Statement From Bayern
Stuttgart began the day unbeaten at home but were blown away in the second half. Kane’s impact from the bench highlighted Bayern’s depth and raised fresh questions about whether anyone can keep pace with them this season.
