Stunning 3–2 Victory Sends Champions Back to the Top

Paris Saint-Germain pulled off one of their most dramatic wins of the season as Joao Neves’ stoppage-time header earned a thrilling 3–2 victory over Lyon.

Luis Enrique’s side looked set to enter the international break sitting second, but Neves’ moment of magic in the fifth minute of added time sent them back to the top of Ligue 1 and sparked wild celebrations among the players and fans.

The decisive goal came after Lyon’s Nicolas Tagliafico had been sent off for a second yellow card. From the resulting corner, Lee Kang-in delivered a perfect cross and Neves rose highest to power the ball home from close range.

It was a cruel end for Lyon, who had fought bravely throughout an electric contest.

Fast Start and End-to-End Drama

The first half was pure chaos. PSG took the lead when Warren Zaire-Emery showed brilliant composure inside the box to finish from close range. But Lyon hit back immediately.

But PSG never stopped pushing. Luis Enrique made attacking changes, and in the final seconds of the game, Neves delivered the killer blow.
