Hakimi Double Fires PSG to Confident 3–0 Win at Brest
Achraf Hakimi was the hero once again as Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 3–0 victory away at Brest, keeping their title charge alive with another commanding performance. The Moroccan full-back struck twice in the first half before Désiré Doué sealed the deal in stoppage time.
Fast Start from the Champions
After smashing seven goals in Europe earlier in the week, PSG carried that same electric energy into Ligue 1. From the opening minutes, they looked determined to end their run of domestic draws.
Senny Mayulu tested Brest’s defense early on, forcing goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki into a brave save, but it didn’t take long for PSG’s quality to shine through.
In the 29th minute, Vitinha floated a perfect pass into the box, where Hakimi met it first-time — a clean strike that curled beautifully into the far corner. A captain’s finish.
Hakimi at His Best
Five minutes before halftime, Hakimi was at it again. After a lightning-fast counterattack, he played a sharp one-two with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, bursting into the box before drilling a low shot past Majecki. It was pure precision, pure confidence — and pure PSG.
Brest, unbeaten in their previous four matches, tried to respond after the break. They were handed a lifeline just before the hour mark when the referee, after a long VAR check, awarded them a penalty for handball.
But luck wasn’t on their side. Romain Del Castillo slipped at the crucial moment, blasting his spot-kick high into the stands — and with that, Brest’s hopes faded.

Late Drama and a Finishing Touch
From there, it was all PSG again. Lee Kang-in went close from distance, and Kvaratskhelia forced another save from Majecki as the Parisians searched for a third.
Manager Luis Enrique brought on Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos to get more minutes after injury, and the visitors kept complete control of the game.
Just when it looked like things would end quietly, Désiré Doué smashed a powerful shot against the post before finally getting his reward in stoppage time — slotting home from Warren Zaïre-Emery’s assist to make it 3–0.
Three goals, three points, and another confident statement from PSG — who look hungry, focused, and firmly in the race at the top.
