Six-Goal Thriller in Paris: PSG Rescue a Point in Dramatic Style!

What was meant to be a routine night at the Parc des Princes turned into a rollercoaster of emotions, as Paris Saint-Germain clawed their way to a dramatic 3-3 draw against a fearless Strasbourg side.

Luis Enrique’s men looked stunned for much of the game, and if not for a late rescue act from Senny Mayulu, PSG would have suffered their first home defeat of the season.

Panichelli’s Double Silences the Champions

It all began brightly for PSG when Bradley Barcola finished off a slick one-two with Désiré Doué to open the scoring. The home fans settled in, expecting another dominant performance — but Strasbourg had other plans.

Argentine forward Joaquín Panichelli soon leveled the score with a powerful header from Guela Doué’s pinpoint cross. From that moment, the visitors grew in confidence, with Valentín Barco and Julio Enciso running the midfield and keeping PSG’s defence on edge.

Before the break, a rare mistake from Doué gifted Barco the ball, and he quickly set up Diego Moreira for a calm finish to make it 2-1 Strasbourg. The home crowd fell silent.

And when Panichelli struck again early in the second half — a smart low drive into the corner — Strasbourg found themselves 3-1 up and dreaming of an unforgettable upset.

PSG Fight Back Late

But champions rarely go quietly. A clumsy foul on Doué saw Gonçalo Ramos convert from the penalty spot to bring PSG within one. Luis Enrique turned to his bench, calling in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, William Pacho, and Ndjantou to inject fresh energy.

The changes worked. PSG threw everything forward — Kang-In Lee rattled the post before Mayulu rose highest to head home the equalizer in the dying moments. Relief flooded the stadium.

Lessons for Both Sides

Strasbourg left Paris frustrated but proud. Their intensity, confidence, and the brilliance of Panichelli — now up to seven goals this season — confirmed they can go toe-to-toe with anyone in Ligue 1.

For PSG, the unbeaten run continues, but Luis Enrique has plenty to think about. Defensive lapses and sloppy mistakes nearly cost them dearly. Missing stars like Ousmane Dembélé, Marquinhos, João Neves, and Fabián Ruiz didn’t help, but the Parisians will need sharper focus as tougher tests await.

Final Score: PSG 3-3 Strasbourg
